Donut Lab, Solid-state battery

This is pretty amazing. Lots of people are skeptical but if you were going to run some sort of elaborate scam, I think you'd give yourself a bit more runway than announcing it will actually ship (in a production motorcycle) Q1 of this year, or as they say, now? They have already shipped their revolutionary motor too, so I think they've earned some benefit of the doubt.

Solid-state batteries have been coming soon forever. Recently, lots of companies have appeared to be getting closer, but someone actually shipping right now is huge, and will start to change a lot of things.

Even as an enjoyer of combustion engines, I love Donut's mission: "Make combustion irrelevant". I get why people are skeptical, because the primoses are really big. If true, they will be well on their way to fullfiling their mission.
